In the story Adventure of Perseus, the son of the god Zeus and the mortal Danae went on a adventure. Perseus wanted to protect his mother. The problem with this though was that Perseus had to bring Polydectes the head of Medusa. What Perseus did to solve this was he cut off Medusa's head and fell in love with a girl. Then after he got the head he showed it to Polydectes and turned him to stone.
